A little Leopard

Oh hello there! We sure hope your week is going well!! This Thursday Purseday we have a fun pick for you straight from the shelves of our beloved JCrew. Can we just take a moment of silence to pay tribute to their fabulous fall & winter line? Oh what I'd give for a shopping spree at that store!!! Anyway, back on topic. Yes, leopard made a come back this year and we've been toying with the idea of investing in something with those saucy little spots on it. The Marlow Hobo was just shrieking "BUY ME!!" at first glance. Couldn't you imagine how effortlessly she'd hang from your shoulder?

Love it! I'll also mention that it's made from gorgeous Italian calf hair {I'm sure PETA just loves JCrew right now} but oh no, that wouldn't stop me from making this purchase. So now comes the real question: How could one pull off a statement piece such as this without it looking too ridiculously trendy? I pulled together a little inspiration outfit with 5 fun basic pieces that would suit it perfectly for this fall... what do you think? Would you rock it?

The best case

We have a special Thursday Purseday devoted to those who are in touch with their inner-technology-loving-nerdy side. I love my electronics as much as the next gal and I KNOW that when my iPhone drops, certain words come out of my mouth that could make my grandma cry. I'm working on it!

We tracked down some of our favorite covers, cases and clutches to protect these precious items, so without further adieu...

This little wristlet has me convinced that Michael Kors is on to something. Being an iPhone owner, I can attest that the phone doesn't fit into just any clutch. While this wristlet concept is fabulous, the reviews are quite the contrary. Is it worth $80 to find out for ourselves??

If you have an iPad and $795.00 laying around, you'll definitely want to get your hands on this Cosmic iPad case- made of none other than lamb leather, of course. You can pre-order this case on the Marc Jacobs site.

Toting around my laptop is one thing that I completely loathe... but if it were in this sleek little laptop bag from Marc Jacobs, it wouldn't be so bad. Especially adoring the gold hardware!!

And last but not least, always faithful Kate Spade has some super fun laptop and phone cases. Perfect for those who are constantly on the go and like to stay fashionable while doing so!

Protecting electronics in the fanciest way possible is yet another trend that we LOVE!

Artfully pursed

During my standard visit to Anthropologie's website, I was a bit taken by and a lot intrigued by the handbags they're holding and the clutches they're clutching this season. So I'm FORCING myself to choose the top 3 that stood out. The rest of their fall collection you'll have to see for yourself. Just be sure to leave that credit card tucked away. :) First, how perfect are these stripes?! They're timeless, seasonless and just plain adorable! Both the clutch and the tote are fabulous! Win.

And the next items... beaded and bursting with color! Stunning, right? All of the intricate details are so delicate and impressive. Would you prefer a more versatile clutch or a statement piece??

Red + Glossy + Valentino. Could there be 3 words that offer a more intriguing description of a bag?! With all of the bold & bright colors that are in style this Fall, we couldn't help but to be drawn to drawn to the Lacca Bow Tote. The liquid shine that we're seeing on more handbags this season is just so fun & elegant!

Thursday Purseday

Going along with our recent attraction to polka dots {as mentioned in this week's Tuesday Shoesday} we also loved this precious little Fendi Bag. Ah how glorious and a perfect way to add a colorful pop to any outfit. Imagine latching on to this while bundled in a khaki trench or a lightweight wool coat- it might just be the perfect accessory for fall!?

There is something about Louis Vuitton that just exudes luxury. Pairing that already luxurious brand with purple {the color of royalty} takes it to a whole new level... and we're just screaming over this metallic plum bag. Ah!!! Gorgeous for all seasons, right?

Good fortune

Everyone knows that those little fortunes we get in cookies are disappointingly, mass-produced. If you've ever scored the same fortune more than once, you know the feeling first hand- it's just short of devastating. Oh the self control it's taken to refrain from asking for another one... after all, how else are we supposed to know what life holds?! Anyway, we found a loophole! These adorable little Fortune Cookie coin purses are NOT mass produced and although you're paying $65 for the fortune, you get a delicious coin purse made of recycled leather!!! Win, win!

They're a bit kitschy, but we love them! Oh and a cool FYI: Each purse has a little number on it so you can track where it's leather came from.

This girl can pull off outfits like you've never seen and basically we want everything that she owns... including the Coach Classic Willis Bag. Don't you just adore this soft caramel leather for fall?

Chloé knows best

Today is thursday, which means 2 very exciting things:{1} It's Thursday purseday! Yay! {2} Tomorrow is Friiiiiiiday!

Without getting swept up in the rapidly approaching weekend, we're truly focusing on this make-me-melt Chloé bag. Doesn't the chain strap adds just the right amount of bling to balance out the preppy innocence of the bow? Now that we know how this beautiful brick tone and navy blue harmonize just perfectly, we'll be on the lookout for more from this duo when autumn arrives.

Hello and happy Thursday Purseday to you! You may have noticed that we're obsessing over the color purple these days so it only seemed fitting that this precious beauty caught our eye. All summer we've been on the search for the perfect textured tote that can tag along to the beach, go to the SoWa Sunday market or even fit for a casual dinner with friends. I think we've found it! The Wish You Were Here Tote {at under $50} fits all of the criteria- and mom would be so happy to know that it even zips shut at the top. You can never be too cautious, right?

Hello, Evangeline

Several months ago, a dear friend of ours {on a whim} impulsively bought the Metallic Evangeline- quite possibly the best purchase of her life to date. It's a bronzy-gold shade of perfection and frankly: jaws drop, strangers stare and hearts sing when Evangeline is out. Yes, it's that amazing. Imagine our joy when we saw this little lady {Burnside Avenue Metallic Evangeline} that Kate introduced this summer. We're adding this little lady to the loooooong list of things we're lusting after from Kate Spade.

Going Vegan

The one time we went to a Vegan restaurant, we were actually delightfully surprised. Things were not as bad as what had been imagined all those years. Even still, going Vegan is not a commitment we're about to make- in the food category, that is. We just can't give up meats, cheese or ice cream!!! Purses are a different story. Take this gem by Matt & Nat for instance... soft, beautiful and VEGAN!
