Did you see?!

We hope you had a magnificent weekend! One little valentines day gift that came to us early is just too exciting not to share with you. As you probably know, we just adore Style Me Pretty and there's a good chance you share this sentiment. We were over the moon when we heard that our sweet clients, Sarah and Zack were selected to have their wedding featured on the Massachusetts blog. This wedding was nothing short of spectacular... take a look, we're sure you'll agree!!

Real Weddings: Tijana & Tyler

If you're a regular visitor of Style Me Pretty, you might have caught a glimpse of this wedding that was featured last week. We've been giddy with the anticipation of sharing this beautiful day and the fun invitation suite we created to set the tone!! Tijana and Tyler wanted a vintage Parisian feel and drew inspiration from Coco Chanel. Their stationery conveyed such a fun elegance!

TTstationery1.jpg

The big day took place at the gorgeous US Grant Hotel- the architecture alone provided beautiful decor, but Tijana and Tyler also planned out loads of details to make sure nothing was forgotten. I have to apologize in advance- there were so many STUNNING pictures to choose from that I not only had a hard time deciding which to share, but this has resulted in a major vendor crush on Laura Ashbrook Photography!!! They captured this wedding so perfectly... I think you'll agree!

Ahhhhh! Are you just swooning?! I just love the flowers by Floral Palette as well! What an amazing day!!

Well Wed

Happy Wednesday, lovelies!! We definitely did a celebration dance recently when we saw the latest issue of the Cape & the Islands edition of Well Wed Magazine. It's truly a beautiful issue packed full of AMAZING ideas and stunning inspiration!! One of the most exciting parts however, is having one of our recent inspiration shoots included!!! We worked with Tyra Bleek Photography, Becca of Petal Floral Design and the lovely ladies at Boston Bridal Lounge to bring this bright & beautiful "Winter Rainbow" concept to life.

Southern New England Weddings

On this fantastic Friday, we wanted to share some great news- our clients, Kelly & Tommy were on the cover of Southern New England Weddings, Destination Edition! Their wedding at the Ocean House was beautifully orchestrated by our sweet & oh-so-talented friend, Sarah True of True Event and a dream team of New England vendors such as Stoneblossom {florals}, Ryan Designs {lounge furniture} and Jennie Fresa Beauty Library {makeup}. And last but not least... Miles Whitt Boyer was there to capture it all with his breath-taking photography!

You will NOT want to miss seeing the beauty of this wedding! Check out the feature on Miles Whitt Boyer's blog! Congrats to Kelly and Tommy on this exciting honor!

Featured: Junebug Weddings

We're absolutely loving the trend of 1920's design elements that are seeping into the wedding industry. We recently had the opportunity to put our heads together with some other awesome wedding vendors for a styled shoot that is off the charts beautiful, in our opinion! :) Junebug Weddings agreed and we're excited to see the shoot featured on their blog! Get a load of some vintage inspiration, from clothing & makeup to stationery and the band!

And we'd be absolutely crazy to not share these beautiful photos of the invitation suite, shot by Magnolia Pair!

A Titanic inspired wedding

Few things brighten our day as much as hearing that our paper has been featured in a blog {or magazine} that we absolutely adore. It's a moment of sheer childish giddiness and we want to put it on the metaphorical refrigerator for all to see!! Apparently, this blog is our refrigerator... It was such a joy working with some of our favorite DC based vendors on this Titanic inspired shoot that was recently featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs. Hop over and see the rest of this vintage gorgeousness! :)

Pure Bliss

Wednesday night, we had the pleasure of partying down at the launch of the new magazine Celebrations. With so many beautifully creative minds behind these pages, we knew it couldn't be anything less than perfect, but we had NO idea just how perfect it would be! Now that we have your attention, here are a few of the reasons why we are obsessing:

1. Abby & Will's letterpress invite was a perfect fit for one of their Color Board Features, all that which provide endless inspiration. {Did we mention the advertisements from vendors happen to adorably match each feature?} Love those details!

2. Inspiration shoots like THIS! Industry professionals collaborate to create breathtaking scenes filled with details that raise the bar. Whether it's a mitzvah, dinner party or wedding, there are stunning ideas flowing from page to page to page. We were thrilled to participate in this particular photo shoot at Sweet Berry Farm, alongside one of our favorite photographers Ricky from Public Image Photography.

3. REAL events + color combinations that are to die for! Abby and Andrew's feature is just one of the many that we've been drooling over. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We continue to ooh & ahh over her TRUE Event details & flowers by Sayles Livingston, all captured by the lovely Leila Brewster Photography.

Southern Living Weddings

There's a lot to love about Southern Living Magazine, after all, the South has such a distinct and irreplaceable charm. We were so excited for Alison and Chris when we heard their wedding was featured in Southern Living Weddings (among others!). From the custom printed buttons & flags to the cotton candy topped champagne, we don't know which detail we're still swooning over. {Perhaps it's the vintage stamps that appear on the invites, programs and cake..?! The list could go on.} Regardless, this couple and their gorgeous wedding will surely continue to inspire us all. We are beyond honored that they entrusted us with their stationery suite, and couldn't be happier with the end result. (Not to mention the attention it's getting ;))

The best of the best

The glorious Style Me Pretty sure outdid themselves in their first ever issue of Style Me Pretty Magazine. For a blog that features over 1,000 weddings each year, we were honored {jumping, shreaking and doing some aerobic style moves for good measure} to hear that 2 weddings of beloved Paper Moss clients made the cut for their Best of 2010 E-Glossy! If this little teaser doesn't pull you to look at the whole entire online mag, just know that you are completely totally missing out. But if you think you can live with yourself, we won't judge.

She Said Yes!

The lovely Jacin from She Said Yes {one of our blog-friends} asked us to guest blog for her Fall Inspiration series. The entire series has been fantastic so far- she covers all bases from decor to favors to festive drinks and fall cakes. Check it out, even if you're not planning an Autumn wedding... you'll find fun, unique ideas that might lend an excuse to host an impromptu party!

Paper Moss decided to share some ideas to gracefully side - step the stereotypical fall wedding invitation. There are countless ways to create a seasonally appropriate motif without being confined to a fall color palate or standard fall designs {pumpkins, leaves or scarecrows}. Tracy and Kevin's invitation suite is just one of our examples that we share for our part in the Fall Inspiration series.

See the rest and learn how we arrived at each of the final designs. For the full effect, check out our guest post. Thanks She Said Yes, for letting us share our love for paper and design. Blog to you soon! {hahahah, bad joke?}

Martha!

If you've been following Pearls for Paper for awhile, you may remember a post about Chris and Alison's Vintage Collegiate wedding. If not... it's time to catch up! Words fail to describe how thrilled we were to find out that Martha Stewart also thought this wedding was just extraordinary. You'll have to check out the feature your self on Martha Stewart Weddings! Be sure and click through all the wedding gallery goodness, too. It's worth it... we promise.

More than an invitation

Newport Weddings Magazine included some of Paper Moss' work for a stationery feature in their recent issue! We always love the chance to share some of the behind - the - scenes action that brings our invitations from concept, to life and this was a great opportunity to walk readers through some of the steps! Pick up a copy of the magazine on their website or book a consultation with Paper Moss and take home a free copy! For now, take a look...

{Paper Moss photos are featured on page 1&2. Congrats to Sara Zarrella on the cover photo!}

We feel so understood! ;) An invitation is so much more than just an invitation.
