Seeing as it fully Fall here in Boston, we decided to dive into some Fall inspiration again this week for Wedding Wednesday! And we're loving it. Muted hues, woodsy textures, whimsical, dreamy-like loveliness. We think that the forest-elegance vibe is still shamelessly classy even when you're wedding in the woods! If you're thinking about going this route for your special day, stick with neutrals and muted hues to blend your decor with your venue. Matching is a happy thing. Also, don't be afraid to try out new things like a flower crown or naked cake. If you haven't had naked cake yet, then, well, get on it! Can cake really let you down?
Today's Shoesday pick is in celebration of the new little life that joined the world {and the Paper Moss family} over the weekend!! Yep, that's right... Emily is a momma! Wow, that was quite a weekend!! Just in time for all of the fall festiveness, the Mr. and I attended a beautiful wedding on Saturday night. I've heard that the first wedding after your own is the most fun, and in many ways I agree. To simply enjoy someone else's celebration- their making of a covenant & the ear to ear smiles to follow- it was an incredible night of dancing & merriment! Of course, it helps to not have any responsibilities or stress about things going according to plan. :) Have you experienced this before? Anyway, we're kicking off a fabulously busy week in the Paper Moss office and you better believe that good music {and coffee} will be fueling us. While shopping on Etsy for a gift the other day, I ran across these beautiful prints... all displaying lines & phrases from songs. How is it already Friday?! This week totally flew by and I'm not sure about you, but my list of to-do's for the weekend is only getting longer. Here are some of the fun things on my radar... if your weekend is open, may you be inspired to join in some of these festive activities!
After being away for a few weeks, the Mr and I realized that we're past due to put away our summer clothes. Are you in the same boat? It's high time to pack up those sundresses and sandals and take inventory of cold weather clothes... and hopefully plan a shopping trip?! My fingers are crossed :)

I just busted open our new slow cooker {thanks, Eddy!!} and couldn't be more excited to try it out. First on the agenda: White Bean Chicken Chili. Yes, I've been dying to try this recipe that I spotted over on the adorable blog, Domesticate Me and just got all of the ingredients to make it happen this weekend! This year I'm extra excited to get in the festive spirit and in my book, this all starts with sipping cider and decorating pumpkins. If I'm being honest, I'm already feeling overly ambitious for the weekend so if I don't make it to the decoration stage, it's OK. There's nothing like the smell of fall flavors to get us pumped up for the season. It takes the edge off the impending extreme weather that winter holds and in my opinion, enhances every bright leaf and crisp day. Days are about to be filled with sipping on apple cider, burning pumpkin pie scented candles and being cuddled in warm sweaters! One recipe I've been waiting to try until fall officially arrived, is this Vanilla Pear Cocktail that I spotted over on Two Tarts. Let's whip one of these up and toast to the start of the season!

Yep, we've got fall on the mind over in the Paper Moss office... there is NO denying it any longer so we're going in for a full embrace!
Geordan & Rich got married at Jonathan Edwards Winery in Connecticut and wanted their wedding to have a rustic, elegant feel. We set the tone for their big day by merging different patterns, textures and a mix of fonts to create a playful yet formal letterpress invitation suite. Top it off with calligraphy from the super talented Kristen Henderson, along with custom postage stamps and this suite has become one of our all time favorites!

From the first time I laid eyes on this shoe storage unit, I've been obsessed! My new closet leaves me lacking for shoe space and this is seemingly the perfect solution to take care of those pretty kicks! What is your shoe storage solution? Any ideas??

One thing I miss dearly about living in Seattle is the coffee culture. There is nothing like kicking off the week with the smell of roasted beans & some strong brew. Make a new playlist or Spotify station with songs that inspire and relax. I don't know about you, but whenever I carve out time to just chill and listen to music, I feel all sorts of refreshed. And obviously I advocate for this to be done while sipping coffee... or tea if that's your thing. :)

Welp, I'm officially Mrs. Berglund now!!! The weekend flew by in all of its beauty and the Mr. and I are now headed off for some much needed relaxation in St. Lucia. For me, traveling brings inspiration unlike anything else. PLUS, I've never been anywhere tropical but this is what's waiting for us on the other side.

Well friends, today kicks off wedding weekend for Dan and I! We're a little jet lagged but we are getting so pumped for our a weekend of celebrating with close friends and family.
