Train or no train
Picking out the perfect wedding dress is quite the task but today, we want to know {for brides to be AND currently married ladies} did you pick a dress with a train or without a train? This is one very traditional element about a wedding gown that can make quite a statement. We've been oohing and awing over some breathtaking photos, but there are certainly pros and cons of having a few feet of fabric following you around on the big day. Even still, we can't help but to swoon!!
So many gorgeous designs of varying lengths! Tell us what you think!!
Add some hop to your step
A Tuesday Shoesday sandwiched between daylight savings time and St. Patty's day makes these suede wedges from C.Wonder, the perfect pick for today. After a ridiculously loooooong winter, we are so stinkin' excited to kick off our boots & wool socks and slip into something a little more sophisticated & bright.

Going natural
Nature is a constant source of inspiration for us at Paper Moss, but admittedly, lately I've been too swept up in "life" to notice or appreciate beauty that we're surrounded by. It's time for a change, folks!! Having studied textiles and fashion in college, I get really pumped up about seeing new materials used for trends… or rather, old materials used in different ways. Right now, I'm totally loving the range of stones, minerals and gems that we've been seeing EVERYWHERE- especially druzy! What a fabulous way to add a little natural bling to an ensemble!!
A Brunch Necessity
Finally the weekend is upon us and truth be told, I've been craving a bloody mary all week. Well, ever since I had one last Sunday. ;) There is something so divine about sipping on that spicy elixir during a long brunch! Better than that, is when you end up at a "make your own" bloody mary bar with a variety of flavored salts, veggies & hot sauces to mix in. Maybe even bacon or buffalo mozzarella?! Thankfully that trend is running rampant here in Boston restaurants, but it's also a fun & interactive element to offer at a bridal shower or birthday brunch!

Happy weekending!

Clutches on a budget
Leave it up to Nordstrom to have a killer selection of clutches that are easy to justify in the budget! Obviously it can be easy to get out of hand with handbag spending but for a trendy, statement piece, we think this is the best area to compromise. Save the splurges for a classic shape that you'll tote every day! Soooo back to the fun, affordable clutches… which one would you choose?!
Honeymooning: Part I
We're working on a series of posts about the vacation of a lifetime… yep, the HONEYMOON!! Your reward after many months of working, planning, budgeting, showers and running around like crazy!! We'll be Including packing tips and some of our favorite, dreamy destinations. For now, we'll get your wheels turning with one beautiful ocean top property in Bora Bora, The Four Seasons.

Timeless peep toes
In all of our wedding wandering {from blogs to Pinterest to talking with brides}, we see an infinite number of wedding shoes. These sparkly bowed, peep toes by Valentino take the cake for one of my all-time favorite pairs. They'd perfectly suit bridal styles ranging from classic to uber feminine, don't you think?
Happy Shoesday!!
Cozy up
We're saying "HELLO, Monday!" with a new music play list to jam to! Not sure about you, but we were in serious need of some cozy tunes to help us settle into the dark, chilly days. Hopefully this will add some spice to your week as well!
Here's to the weekend
Happy Friday, friends! What do you have planned for the weekend? We already have a busy few days planned {shocker!} including dinner with friends tonight, meeting with some potential clients tomorrow, afternoon skiing, a going away party and Sunday brunch. All fabulous things, but you better believe that I'm ready to kick off the weekend with some tasty libations! In honor of the impending storm coming our way on Monday, this "Nor'easter" looks delicious and seems fitting for the type of winter we've been having here in New England!

Logo Love
There is something so stunning about the big, blingy designer logos adorning the leather of these cross-bodys. Sometimes a logo {if done tastefully} can be the perfect focal point! Saint Laurent and Hermes are doing it- along with a myriad of other designers. What do you think of the look?

Color Crush: Winter White
There is something so peaceful and classic about soft, natural colors. Though etiquette used to say that wearing white after Labor Day {and before Memorial Day} was a faux pas, we're so thankful that the modern trends aren't adhering to it! We absolutely love winter white and couldn't resist putting together a little Color Crush board to prove it!!

It's every bit cozy and chic- don't you think?!
Skimming your way to Spring
Another cold day in Boston has us day dreaming of warmer weather flats… using the term "warmer weather" loosely, of course. Anything over 40 degrees would be lovely! The brilliant designers over at Madewell are adding salt to the wound with their super cute collection of skimmers.
I really have my eye on #1 but would gladly take one of each of these pairs. Which would you choose?
Monday Motivation
Starting off a busy week, there needs to be some serious focus on staying creative here in the world of Paper Moss. Sometimes it's easy to get wrapped up in a gigantic to-do list and forget to make time for life giving things... things that stir curiosity and breed creativity. If you're in the same boat, take the challenge with us this week and be intentional about tapping into those things. I recently came across a great article to help with just this and encourage you to take a look at the cute graphic explanation that accompanied it! Today, I'm most excited for #s 3, 8 and 11! Which one are you going to dive into?
Updating the loo
Whether your loo is a place of serenity & pampering {think bubble baths by candlelight} or more of a functional room, you want it to be fashionable and inspiring. Why? Because either way, you'll be starting AND ending your days there. It may as well be a beautiful place!! I took a much needed break from nesting my new apartment to focus on some more pertinent things, but since I'm now rearing my way back into "decor mode", I figured that some inspiration was in order!
Pale green & ethereal
Today, we're not only nerding out with our love for handbags, but also our love for artistic styling & beautiful photography. Isn't that pale green Ila clutch so dreamy?! Ahh and everything about this ethereal photo has us head over heels!!

Happy Purseday!
Pretty Paper: Maggie & Josh
Getting married at a venue that is an iconic part of a city is something that should be played up, in our opinion. We were over the moon when Maggie & Josh came to us with their appreciation for art and subsequent vision of a formal wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts. By incorporating a hand drawn icon of the venue on the main invitation, along with a few smaller, complimentary icons for the schedule of events, their letterpress suite set the scene for a weekend of elegance and merriment!

Becoming well versed
Women's fashion can be quite complicated- from sizing to styles... to the sizing of different styles, washable textiles vs. dry clean only… fearing how things will change & morph over time. When it comes to shoes, we want to pass along this handy tool that can help you be well-informed as you seek to expand your collection of heels. We think it's most helpful to plan a shopping trip to put your new knowledge into practice! ;)

Every lady needs one
Oh hey friends, happy Monday! Are you enjoying a nice little 3 day weekend in honor of Presidents Day? Well hopefully you're relaxing and too busy having fun to even bother blog-hopping, but in the event you're itching for something fun to fill your day with, we have something for you. Aside from the fact that it's engagement season and it would be a sweet gift, this DIY is just plain cute! Every lady needs a ring dish! I have one by the bathroom sink, one by the kitchen sink and one on my bedside table… because let's be honest, NO ONE wants to loose track of their pretty jewelry, diamonds or no diamonds. Anyway, this DIY looks super simple and I'm excited to give it a try!!

Check out Honestly WTF for the full play by play… and ENJOY the rest of your day off!!!
Planning for tomorrow
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! We truly hope that regardless of your relationship status, today you can celebrate the most important people in your life. Friends, family, those co-workers that make your days bearable, and so on. There is much to be celebrated and one of my favorite ways to celebrate is with food!! Although I'm excited for a nice dinner & a relaxing night, I'm already thinking about brunch tomorrow. Don't these festive fixings look divine?! Regardless of if you'll be hanging with your best friend, boy friend or roommates, why not wake up tomorrow and have a nice long, indulgent brunch? These recipes for cranberry buttermilk pancakes and a "Pimosa" {pomegranate mimosa} seem like the perfect pair!!

Happy V-Day! xoxo
